Woo Hoo!!!!

Well the Red Sox have finally done it! So amazing! I am very happy for the boys! They played some good ball! I was so into the games that I barely got any knitting done! Games 4 & 5 were killing my nerves. I am so glad I will not have to see slimey Jeter up at bat. he's so smug! Ugg!
Onto the World Series - time to reverse the curse!

As the weather is getting a bit brisk in Beantown - I've been working on some mittens for Will's little hands. I'm using the yarn that I made the preppy sweater in.

Happy Day for Will

Oh, to be two again! So it was a happy week! My nephew just turned two - watch out Mama he's bound to keep you running! My sis threw him a little party with the neighborhood boys and girls. Thank goodness it was a nice fall day for the kids to run around outside because there was a lot of treats and a yummy chocolate cake that was homemade by his mum! Mum also custom made each kid's cute party hat - she is such a Martha!
Will's world is all about trucks now!

What do you think about his sweater? Yup! That's the preppy sweater I made sometime back in March. It only took me 5 months to block it and sew it all up! I wish I was a little speedier but I knew I had some time. It's a nice little preppy roll neck sweater. Now I have started a trend - every year his Mum going to expect a new birthday sweater!

Here's a close up of the raglan shoulder/sleeves. I was surprised with how easy it was to finish up with the mattress stitch. I was so afraid I was going to botch it up. Looks like nikatay did all right!
